Float n’ Feathers

For the month of May, Alaska Rivers Company donates towards the efforts of The Bird Treatment & Learning Center (Bird TLC) thru their Float n’ Feathers Scenic Floats. For each individual person, ARC will donate 10 percent of their trip cost to The Bird Treatment & Learning Center. To participate, all that is needed is for bird lovers and scenic floaters to mention The Bird Treatment & Learning Center when making their reservation, walk-ins included.  The Float n’ Feathers Scenic Float is for birders and rafting clientele who wish to focus their time on the water spotting species on the Upper Kenai. This two- and half-hour Scenic Float includes a professional boatman/guide that will take the time to focus on all the species as you venture down 11 rivers miles of the Upper Kenai and through the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. This fundraiser runs for the Month of May.  All funds raised will go towards the Bird TLC in support of their efforts in wildlife conservation, education, rehabilitation and research. Fishin’ with Kids Deal

One of our most absolute favorite things to see is watching a youngster make their first catch! To watch their excitement and expressions as they reel it in is why we love what we do. So, ALL SEASON long, we are offering $15-$25 off for kids 12 and under for our Half-Day, Full-Day and Canyon fishing trips. If you are wanting to take the kids out on a professional guided trip this summer, be sure to request this special when booking your trips. (Note: May not be combined with SUPER Saturday and Military Rates, or Senior Discounts)

Early & Late Season Cabin Special

If you are wanting to avoid the crowds and get a deal at the same time, be sure to book one of our cabins either in May or September. Request our Early or Late Season Cabin Special depending upon your stay and we’ll give you an additional discount to your reservation. Special runs May 1 – 31, 2024 and September 1 – September 30, 2024, and is available based on occupancy.

SUPER Saturday Rates

Join Alaska Rivers Company on the river this summer on any Saturday and we’ll offer some incredible deals for rafting or fishing with us. Discounts are offered on our Guided Scenic Float Trips, Kenai Canyon Scenic Float, Paddle Boarding on Kenai Lake, Half-Day, Full-Day and Canyon Fishing. Request our SUPER Saturday Rate when you make your reservation and add some savings to your rafting or fishing trip on the Upper Kenai River. Fishin’ Frenzy Itinerary 

 (4 days 4 nights: party of 4)     *Fish species would be determined by time of year*                             

  • Half day PM fishing trip.  We cannot think of better way to get your trip going then getting right on the water as soon as you arrive in Cooper Landing for an afternoon on the Upper Kenai.  Check into your cabin after your trip.
  • Kenai Canyon Fish.  For your first full day in Cooper Landing, we will take you out on the water right from your doorstep for an action-packed fishing mission on the drift only Upper Kenai River through the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.
  • Ocean Fishing Charter out of Seward.  Head out of Resurrection Bay for a full day ocean experience searching for the monsters that live in the deep.
  • Middle Kenai River Fish.  We will now venture further downstream for a full day fishing trip chasing around the infamous middle river trout, char and salmon.
  • Save 10% over individual item prices.

Chugach Explorer Itinerary

  • Upper Kenai scenic PM float trip. When you arrive in Cooper Landing, we will take you directly from our facilities down the amazing, turquoise-colored waters of the Upper Kenai.  Check into your cabin after tour.
  • Guided Hike to Russian River Falls.  Take an amazing nature hike up one of the most spectacular valleys on the Kenai Peninsula to experience the wonder of the Russian River Falls and watch (season dependent) salmon battle the falls trying to get upstream.
  • Kenai Canyon Raft Trip.  We will finish your trip a rafting trip down the entire length of the Upper Kenai River through the remote Kenai Canyon and out to Skilak Lake, where we will either do a 1.8-mile guided hike or a 7-mile lake crossing.
