Great Time on the River

We had a wonderful day on the Kenai river with ARC. Took the 6 hour rafting trip and saw terrific displays of eagles and other birds. ARC provided us with all the gear we needed and Kyle did a great job as our guide. Highly recommended!

Perfect Raft Trip and Perfect Fishing Trip

We cannot say enough about the WONDERFUL experience we had with this company!! The wives went on the full day raft trip… It was beautiful and fun! Not just a simple float on a raft, but a few bumpy rapids to make it fun. Our guide was amazing and loved teaching us everything he could about Alaska and the river, which he obviously loves dearly! Eagles everywhere!!! Lunch was great!! Our hubbies did the all day fishing with Eric and were so impressed by him!!! He made their day so fun!! They cannot say enough about how much they loved the experience!! The fishing was great and they have pictures to prove it !! They even saw a bear!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!

An Amazing Experience…

My fishing buddy and I have been planning an Alaskan adventure for many years and we finally pull the trigger and went this past August. ARC was simply an amazing choice for everything. They are strategically located on the Kenai, with close proximity to all the prime fishing grounds. Their cabins are clean and comfortable and have the best beds.

We fished with one of their guides and he was absolutely best in class from a knowledge and application perspective. He gave us patient guidance and advice which we quickly turned into limits of fresh run chromers. This is not bobber fishing and it requires concentration and effort, but when you hook one of these silver bullets, it’s a fishing experience unparalleled anywhere.

Thanks a million Alaska Rivers Company- you are consummate pros!!! The vibe of this setting is simply surreal as the staff is laid back, attentive and accommodating in every imaginable way. If we can somehow convince our wives we, would be up there 5 times a year, thanks again ARC for an amazing and overwhelmingly positive stay with you, cannot wait to come back !!!!!

Killer Day!!

It was a Fall day, late in August and mother nature prevailed in many ways. Started out a brisk 36 degrees but had a clear sky which meant we were going to enjoy the sun. We were greeted by a very friendly group in charge of the lodge. Our night beforehand was in their main house, extremely comfortable for a large family or multiple couples.

We spent a couple of days drifting with Alaska River Company guides, who know the river like the back of their hands. They are very talented and really had a knack for putting us in the zone. We were constantly hooked up and probably had a few of the best days on the river. ARC truly does have an advantage having an awesome team and being very responsive to the clients wants and needs.
It was an absolutely fantastic day on the Kenai and I thank ARC for making our stay and trip a great experience.

Great Experience with ARC

My fishing buddy and I stayed in one of ARC’s cabins for 8 days in late July/early August. The cabin was fantastic and the staff (Erik, Cory, and the rest of the team) were really nice, helpful, and laid back. We did a full day float trip through the Refuge and everybody in the boat caught a limit of Sockeye Salmon and several nice rainbow trout. Our guide was great!!! Although we are experienced fisherman the technique for catching Sockeye is unique, and ARC’s guide’s instructions and guidance had us catching fish the (legally) right away. He worked very hard to ensure we had the technique down and that we played the fish correctly when hooked. These fish are hard fighters so it is necessary to play them correctly!!!

We will be staying and fishing with ARC again on our next trip. Thanks to Erik, Cory, and the rest of the staff for helping make our trip a success!!!
